About the Conference

In May, the sixteenth edition of ORLEN GAS MEETING will take place—an event that for years has been one of Poland’s most important industry forums dedicated to the natural gas market. During this year’s gathering, together with experts, representatives of the energy sector, and the academic community, we will review the past winter season and examine the key challenges facing the industry in the months ahead.

The 16th edition of OGM will clearly move beyond the standard framework of industry debates, with special attention given to the dynamic international situation, shifting supply routes, regulations, new energy alliances, and global tensions that have a direct impact on the Polish gas market. We will consider how to build stability, competitiveness, and security amid the ongoing hostilities in the Middle East.

An important element of this year’s discussions will also be climate-related issues. Extreme weather phenomena—from heatwaves and temperature anomalies to severe storms and droughts—are increasingly affecting gas demand and the operation of infrastructure. The recent “real winter” of 2026 provided numerous observations that will help us better understand the impact of weather conditions on the energy sector.

ORLEN GAS MEETING 2026 will be an opportunity not only to summarize the most important trends, but also to view the gas market in a broader geopolitical and climate context. As always, it will remain a space for exchanging experience, discussion, and building perspectives for the future—a forum that connects the world of data with human insight, and business decisions with the realities of global politics.
